How Do You Define "Slow"?

Sometime back on one of my prayer walks.

I had a target mile to walk around on the prayer journey.

Because I wanted to wrap on time, I began to walk faster.

Guess what?

I got more physically exhausted than I was when I was walking slowly.

So, I decided to remain at the initial pace.

Here's what I learned:

πŸŽ‰ Fast is good but may not be sustainable.

πŸŽ‰ If you decide to go faster than your capacity can carry.

You will burnout out before getting to your destination.

πŸŽ‰ Slow is relative as it is based on perception.

Guess what happened when I decided to remain at my initial pace?

Of course it took a longer time for me to complete the rounds.

But I prayed for longer and so increased in strength through prayer.

Your journey may look slow to many, but you are building stamina.

Keep building.
