The Lord's Mandate (The Power In Salvation)

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
Romans 10:14‭-‬15 NLT

Early in 2018, I was in a bus and the Lord laid it in my heart to preach His good news and pray for the people.

I was quite timid so I was a bit reluctant to but He helped my timidity and I yielded, unknown to me there was a young man seated in that bus whom that message and prayer was His saving Grace.

While praying for the people, I received a word for a young man seated directly behind the driver's seat and I prayed for Him.

At the point of alighting, I was led by the Spirit to have a conversation with him and share the word received with him of which I yielded and this young man shared with me how that he was traveling for his wedding and there had been series of issues since the beginning of the planning process with several spiritual attacks.

In summary, this young man was about to walk into his own death and the Gospel of our Lord Jesus was His only saving Grace.

He surrendered his life to Jesus and that day, I learnt three things;

1. No matter the situation surrounding a man, the Gospel of our dear Lord is the tool with which Christ saves and delivers all men.

2. The leading of the Spirit in you might be God's last resort to delivering a man from even death so never neglect that leading no matter the circumstances.

Could it be that that young man was the reason God orchestrated my path to entering that bus??

3. God is always looking for men and honestly, even the available may not be useable and yes God can use anybody but we have a part to play in ensuring we are useable by and available for the Master's use at all times.

Could I have been the only person God led to preach and pray in that bus?

Or was there someone else who had received the leading before I did but was unable to yield for some reasons?

God is always looking for men through which He will carry out His agenda on the earth realm and just as the Apostle said in our anchor text; how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? 

How can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?

Sometimes I wonder, personally, maybe I would have been saved much earlier in my life if only someone preached the undiluted Gospel of Christ to me.

Dear believer, there is no excuse to not yielding to those burdens in your heart!

There is no excuse to not sharing the Goodnews of Christ with as many as the Lord helps you too.

Trust me, timitidy is not an excuse and neither is a stuttering tongue an excuse!

Get up and spread the Goodnews as it is the assignment Christ has given to all believers no matter your calling!

And if there is someone reading this who desires the saving power of Christ, yes! Christ is able to save you, to heal and to deliver you from sin and death.

Truly, He did come to die for you that you may have life, He was wounded for your transgressions and all you need to do is to believe in Him and you shall be saved.

 *Prayer of Salvation* 
Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the son of God and that you died for my sins and rose again on the the third day.

I admit that I am a sinner and that only you can forgive me my sins, please come into my life and make me whole again.

I accept you today as my Lord and personal savior.

Now, if you said that prayer from the bottom of your heart, you are now a new creature as all things are passed away and you have now become new.

A new life in Christ has been given to you here on out!

Trust me, there will always be many excuses; Lord I am a stammerer, Lord, you know I am not bold, Lord, there's no time, Lord, they won't listen, but listen!

No excuse supercedes the burden or our dear Lord!

Receive Grace to carry out the Lord's mandate!
