The faith of the just

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Habakkuk 2:4 KJV

According to our anchor text, one key attribute of the righteous/just man (the one in right standing with God) is his faith/steady believing in the Lord.

It is not of sons to trust in themselves as the Apostle Paul clearly tells us in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it is impossible to please our dear Lord as he who must come to the Lord must first believe 2 key things:

1. That He is!
2. That He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him!

Believing that He is is simply believing in His existence and His every name and word (He is God! He is unchangeable! He is eternal! He is Lord! He is I Am! He is Love! He is kind! He is faithful! He is near! He is an ever present help in times of need! He is Holy! He is never-failing! and much more).

Believing that He is a Rewarder is simply believing that He has not called the seed of Jacob to seek Him in vain.

These two beliefs are the core foundation of the walk of the just/righteous with His Lord as truth is; as powerful as God is, you can not get anything from Him with unbelieve for His mercies endure forever!

According to the preceding verses of our anchor text, what the Lord has shown is for an appointed time and truly it will speak but only with steady/consistent believing will that vision be made alive first in your heart and then in the hearts of men and then in every sphere.

This is why the Apostle tells us to call forth the things that be not as though they were as our faith is what brings things to existence and Jesus clearly tells us in Mark 9:23 how that when we believe, nothing can be impossible to us.

Dear believer, what makes your walk with God interesting is your faith in the Lord which is why the devil always seeks to weaken and damage your faith through tribulations and challenges, is your faith weak? Have you somehow stopped believing at some point?

It is possible for your faith to come back to life in great strength and capacity, all you need to do is go back to the Lord in His word and prayers as prayerlessness is simply proof that you don't need God but trust in your own abilities.

The peace and grace of our dear Lord be multiplied unto you!
