Revealing Christ To A Dark Generation

And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.
Colossians 3:4 NLT

Sometimes we desire to do so much on the earth and make a name for ourselves but according to scriptures, we have just one assignment on the earth to which every other thing we do is tied to that one assignment and that is to become like Christ and so represent Him on the earth and reveal Him to our world.

The Apostle Paul clear tells us in the preceding verses of our anchor text how that our new life is hidden with Christ in God and so we are not to think about/pursue the things of the earth but the things of Heaven, he further makes us understand in our anchor text that our glory which is a shared glory with Christ in God only comes when Christ who is our life is revealed in us on the Earth and further admonishes us in the latter verses to put to the death the sinful nature lurking within us.

Dear believer, you have a new life in Christ and as you seek to grow in that life and live according to the dictates of God's word by His Grace/the help of the Holy Spirit, you become just like Christ and the only way we can truly represent Christ and reveal Him to our world in our different spheres of influence is by first growing in knowledge of and communion with Him and so therefore becoming just like Him.

Indeed as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17) so everything that our dear Lord is/stands for is what/who He has ordained us to be here on the earth realm and not just in power but in love as well, not just in miracles but in kindness, meekness, not just in Boldness and audacity but in goodness, mercy as well,not just in signs and wonders but in patience, temperance as well as all the fruits of the Spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-25.

We do have an assignment to grow in Christ and so represent Him on the earth realm thereby revealing Him to our world, that our colleagues, neighbors, friends, even those who don't like us see us and see Jesus, hear us speak and so have heard Jesus.

Dear believer, our very own name/identity is to be Christ-Like so behold Him as in a glass (from His word and consistent fellowship/communion with Him in the place of prayer) and be transformed into His own image from one realm of Glory to another (2 Corinthians 3:18).

You are the light of the world and with all the darkness in this world, you can not afford not to shine that light for all to see and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.

Behold Him until you are formed and remember that the sent doesn't show up of himself/in his name but of/in the name of the one who has sent Him!

Receive the grace to grow in the knowledge of and communion with Him and so become just as He is!

The Grace and peace of our dear Lord be multiplied unto you!
