The Rewarder And His Rewards

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NLT I know you feel as though you have been serving, waiting and trusting the Lord and yet His promises don't seem forthcoming but I just want to let you know that our Lord, the Lord God, the Commander of Heaven's army can never, will never and has not called the seed of Jacob to seek Him in vain. No matter what the situation around you looks like right now, where you are currently standing financially, maritally, health wise, ministerially, career wise, it is important for you to know and understand that God rewards men and a major requirement for this reward is faithfulness! Our God is a rewarder and truth is, God rewards men but the reason we don't see His rewards most times is because we expect His rewards in certain ways and when we don't see them come in those ways, we do not recognize the act...

The Life Surrendered!

But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23‭-‬24 NLT The word "worship" Jesus used in our anchor text originated from the Greek word proskuneo' while it's Hebrew equivalent is shachac which implies a posture submission, reverence and acknowledgement of God's sovereignty. It would therefore interest you to know that Jesus was not talking about the songs we sing with lifted hands, actually, those songs were meant to be an outflow of a heart posture and a life totally surrendered/submitted under God, the lifted hands and bowing down also are simply a sign of that surrender. To surrender/submit is to give something completely, to yield oneself to a superior force, to be obedient to a superior authority. So what was Jesus actually saying in that scr...

The season of kings

He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. Daniel 2:21 NLT For many who are sensitive in the realm of the Spirit, you can tell that we have entered into a season of crowning, a season of great transitioning for many and this season comes with quite a number of demands as well just as any other season in the realm of the Spirit. For many it's a call up hither and for some it's a call to contend for their placement in destiny and as many as will align themselves will be carried on the wings of the Eagle into a place where the Glory is very tangible and evident. Just as our anchor text clearly says, God is the one who makes kings for Himself, we see severally in scriptures how God carried the most unlikely men into their kingly ordinations and divine placements (David, Esther and Joseph) and this He did by His very own wisdom. What to do in this season: First, you must understand that...

Laying aside every weight!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. Hebrews 12:1‭-‬3 NLT Truth be told, there are so many distractions seeking to pull the believer away from the path of seeking/serving/doing the will of the Lord and this is all in the enemy's agenda to recruit "believers" to work against the Kingdom of our dear Lord and for his (the enemy's) kingdom. Second truth is that there is only one among two things everyone on this Earth is doing; it's ei...
