The spirit of rebellion
Joel 2:7-8 {NKJV} " They run like mighty men, They climb the wall like men of war; Every one marches in formation, And they do not break ranks. 8 They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own [ a ] column. Though they lunge between the weapons, They are not [ b cut down." Rebellion can simply be defined as opposition to authority, either to God directly or to those He has placed over us. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 clearly tells us that God is a God of order, which implies that whatever service or sacrifice that will be acceptable unto God must be rendered in order/obedience to God and authorities He has placed over us. Our anchor text gives us a very interesting character trait of the army that God is raising in this end time; they march in formation and do not break their ranks, they do not push one another as everyone marches in his own column.
