The Apostle Paul clear tells us in the preceding verses of our anchor text how that our new life is hidden with Christ in God and so we are not to think about/pursue the things of the earth but the things of Heaven, he further makes us understand in our anchor text that our glory which is a shared glory with Christ in God only comes when Christ who is our life is revealed in us on the Earth and further admonishes us in the latter verses to put to the death the sinful nature lurking within us. We are in the days where men will be completely sold out to Jesus and totally given to the call of God upon their lives!
